Sacco and Vanzett: Innocent or Guilty?

I had never heard of Sacco and Vanzetti before and I found these men very interesting because of their background and how they were anarchists. America is a country that has the freedom of speech which allows anyone to say whatever he wants to. But, to me, the anarchists took things to another level with the bombs and other means of destruction. What happened to violence is not the answer? I understand people need to express themselves but bombings and shootings usually have one thing to say: I do not like what you are doing or I just do not like you period. Sacco and Vanzetti seem like two men who were trying to make an honest living in a different country. But both were anarchists which puts them in a very shaky situation. I thought the trial seem pretty unfair with the many witnesses not being to sure about certain things; for example how long or the way Vanzetti wore his moustache. The prosecution seem to have a field day with this whole case. In my opinion, they seem to have been at the wrong place at the wrong time. Anyone can see that these two men were trying to make things work out for themselves. There is something about the way these men carry themselves that made them seem innocent. They did not act out in court or anything; basically they kept their cool. Maybe America also was showing it's prejudice side a little bit considering the fact these two men were Italian. Yes, America is suppose to be this melting pot of different races and cultures. But, honesty has to come into play here because some people are not as open to everything that a person or a race has to offer. I can't believe I have never heard of these two men who had such a controversy case. After the outcome of the case, America was looked down upon by Italy and few other nations that got absorbed into this situation. Basically, America gave itself a bad reputation for doing this. Being close minded and naive can put someone or a whole nation in jeopardy because if that person or nation does not branch out and start learning about the unknown, then he or that nation is going to be very successful different cultures or races. In my opinion, I believe these two men were innocent and were not given a fair chance of what had happened; even when a man had came up and cleared these two men of these charges. At times I believe America has some work to do with fairness and equality.
